RECAP: The 14th annual Stillwater Medical Center Foundation Golf Classic was held September 23rd at Stillwater Country Club. Benefiting the Foundation's high shcool internship program endowments, this year's event raised more than $43,000.
According to Dr. Glen Henry, who served as honorary tournament chair, the event was a great success. "Our prosperity was accomplished through our many dedicated golfers, volunteers and donors with the backing of our Foundation Board of Directors. Their support is essential to the success of the tournament," Henry noted.
"We truly appreciate everyone who makes this tournament one of the most successful in our area. Special thanks goes to golf pro Chuck Coatney and Stillwater Country Club's excellent staff for their work in ensuring an exquisite groomed golf course and accommodating club house," stated Ruth Walker, tournament chair, who joined some friends on the greens during the afternoon round.
